Clips retain quoted text, document identity and title, source hash, character range, page information, topic and note locally. They survive deletion of the source document. Delete clips separately in Evidence Board. Shared Markdown is unencrypted; copies outside the app must be managed separately.
Existing app data
This update adds no developer account, analytics or tracking service. The app uses local storage for its documented work. Apple manages App Store transactions and system services under its own policies.
App data may be included in operating-system backups. Exports and backups remain independent copies; deleting a local record does not erase copies already shared.
