About this app

Made for a clear purpose.

Sentencewake turns raw NMEA 0183 logs into an inspectable offline voyage record while keeping every conclusion traceable to its source line.

SEE THE VOYAGE • Import text, log, and NMEA files from Files. • Fuse RMC, GGA, and GLL position reports into a timed route. • Review distance, duration, speed, checksum health, and instrument inventory. • Inspect native route, speed, and quality charts.

AUDIT EVERY SENTENCE • Distinguish valid, invalid, and missing transmitted checksums. • Search and filter by issues, position, or sensor records. • Inspect talker, formatter, fields, line number, and raw source together. • Export only checksum-valid lines when a cleaned log is needed.

FIND WEAK SEGMENTS • Detect fix gaps, coordinate jumps, duplicate sentences, void fixes, high HDOP, low satellite counts, and heading disagreement. • Compare depth, wind, temperature, speed, and heading channels. • Jump from a quality finding back to the exact source sentence.

WORK WITHOUT A SERVER • Use a complete sample log immediately or import your own. • Consult a dedicated offline reference for 14 common NMEA formatter families. • Save the current analysis locally and export a native PDF report.

No account, advertising, subscription, server, or network connection is required.

Sentencewake is a diagnostic aid, not a navigation instrument. A valid checksum does not establish sensor accuracy, safe navigation, datum correctness, timing integrity, or equipment suitability.
