Ringcross is a focused dendrochronology workspace for measuring, aligning, and documenting tree-ring evidence entirely on device.
CROSSDATE WITH EVIDENCE • Compare a sample radius with multiple master chronologies. • Search explicit calendar shifts and inspect every candidate. • Review Pearson correlation, overlap, t score, Gleichläufigkeit, and narrow-ring marker agreement together. • Accept a candidate only when the evidence supports it.
BUILD THE CHRONOLOGY • Edit annual ring widths in a dedicated measurement table. • Import year-and-width or width-only CSV data. • Detrend series, inspect indexed curves, and compare skeleton plots. • Combine accepted series into a coverage-aware site chronology.
KEEP THE FIELD RECORD • Record site, specimen, species, radius, elevation, aspect, and collection notes. • Preserve the accepted shift and crossdating checklist with the project. • Export a native PDF evidence packet through the system share sheet.
A complete editable sample is ready at first launch. Projects persist locally, and no account, advertising, subscription, or network service is required.
