Ashgate Inquest is a deduction mystery that checks your reasoning, not your clicking.
Fourteen deaths unfold across a connected city: a magistrate beneath a bell, a glassblower beside a cold furnace, a watchman behind a barred tunnel, and a final assize that changes what the earlier cases meant.
Inspect each frozen scene. Zoom into objects, documents, traces, testimony, and clocks. Every discovery enters terms into your coroner's ledger. Use those terms to complete a formal finding: identity, time, means, sequence, and responsibility.
The grading is structural. A conclusion may be true but unsupported. A later line cannot stand on a contradicted premise. The coroner returns each line as sound, unsupported, or contradicted without simply revealing the answer.
